Over the last seven years, thanks to our participants and our generous sponsors, the Foundation has raised over $200,000! This is way beyond anything we could of dreamed of.

The following are some of the breast cancer organizations that will benefit from your generosity:

•  Judi Shesh Memorial Scholarship.

In the coming year, the Foundation will also be sponsoring various other breast cancer related events. They each in their own way will help fulfill our mission to research for a cure, as well as provide comfort and aid to women in our community who are fighting the battle against breast cancer. What better way is there to honor the memory of a woman who was such a cherished member of the Bay Shore/Brightwaters community.

Again, thanks to all - including the Great South Bay YMCA, the various organizations and businesses that donated their goods and services, the residents of Brightwaters who welcomed the participants, and countless volunteers who helped make this run a tremendous success.
